Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tuan Watson started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Tuan Watson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jessie Rangel. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Mickey Picard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tlell's Norberto Chabot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Raymond Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Souplet during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trois-Rivières FC's Charles Souplet got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trois-Rivières FC's zone, Augustin Sansouci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jessie Rangel came out of the goal and Augustin Sansouci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Serrano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mickey Picard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Chabot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuan Watson in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jessie Rangel saved Trois-Rivières FC from getting behind. Norberto Chabot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Picard in the 33rd minute of play. Tuan Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jessie Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trois-Rivières FC's Kurt Serrano got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Bergman in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Chabot saved Tlell from getting behind. After some careless play in the Tlell defense, Mickey Picard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Chabot. The Tlell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Chabot should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Mickey Picard made the kick off in the second half. If Mickey Picard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Mickey Picard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tlell defense, Raymond Bergman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Chabot. The Tlell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Chabot should have stopped the shot. Manuel Floyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Trois-Rivières FC's Mickey Picard got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Raymond Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Ben Durham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trois-Rivières FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tlell the free kick. 97 minutes into the match, Raymond Bergman notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Tlell's Norberto Chabot. Norberto Chabot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trois-Rivières FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
