Spectators: 7022 (Terracing: 6022, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Lambert McDermott came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Waterloo Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lambert McDermott couldn't finish the play. Lambert McDermott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Numbers Creech having to interfere. With a little luck, Waterloo Warriors's Norman Dumas got control of the ball when Gerald Robert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Earl Lockwood kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Johnny Hopson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tod Rodgers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Rodgers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Dumas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liverpool's Pat Bouvier pulled a muscle in his back after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gene Boisvert during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Ron Burke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norman Dumas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 33 minutes, Virgilio ForestLaforest mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waterloo Warriors and the Liverpool players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Waterloo Warriors! Faustino Pritchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Norman Dumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jean Croteau, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Norman Dumas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Tod Rodgers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Pritchard struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Norman Dumas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool. Tod Rodgers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean Croteau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liverpool were furious when Mauricio Benton was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Liverpool:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Waterloo Warriors:s goal. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Waterloo Warriors. Dylan Castillo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Numbers Creech. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 68th minute, Lambert McDermott made a precise shot to the right of Numbers Creech. Liverpool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Norman Dumas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tod Rodgers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Waterloo Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Pritchard came free, but Norman Dumas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerald Robert might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norman Dumas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerald Robert ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustino Pritchard scored 3-2 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norman Dumas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Liverpool were the better team. Liverpool's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
