After a rather tough play, C.S.M. Resita's Mariano Lott got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Earle Hollis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moose FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earle Hollis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chong Lamontagne in the 15th minute of play forced Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Juliusz Szostak notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Moose FC's Jake Kitchen. Jake Kitchen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 played minutes Moose FC got a freekick which was hit by Dwayne Casey. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lott in the 23rd minute of play forced Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lott's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Jake Kitchen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lott in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jake Kitchen saved Moose FC from getting behind. Mariano Lott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Jake Kitchen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute of the match C.S.M. Resita got a corner. Moose FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenzo Ott ran over to the corner to take the kick. 35 minutes into the match, Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lott. In the 35th play minute Mariano Lott came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jake Kitchen. 2-0. Mitch Marleau scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garrett Gladu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moose FC's Jake Kitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lott in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, C.S.M. Resita's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Marleau came free, but Garrett Gladu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chong Lamontagne during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jake Kitchen was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Mariano Lott capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lott really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juliusz Szostak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Moose FC's Dwayne Casey got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Juliusz Szostak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moose FC's Jake Kitchen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Mariano Lott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.M. Resita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jake Kitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Szostak in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.M. Resita's zone, Isaias Weiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garrett Gladu came out of the goal and Isaias Weiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Juliusz Szostak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Quincy Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Mariano Lott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jake Kitchen. Moose FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Garrett Gladu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Weiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.S.M. Resita! Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Garrett Gladu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 94th minute, Isaias Weiss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moose FC's Jake Kitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lott in the 98th minute of play. A collision led to Moose FC getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Gino Noel hit a great ball. Jake Kitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Szostak in the 100th minute of play. C.S.M. Resita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lorenzo Ott in the 101st minute.
