Galatic Dragons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe S.K. the free kick. Alessandro Vierchowod hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gilberto Fremont scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Émilien Arrington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Qiao Qi Bo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Gilberto Fremont got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Gilberto Fremont cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Émilien Arrington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Galatic Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Yun Jun came free, but Émilien Arrington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington got control of the ball when Gilberto Fremont tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Galatic Dragons getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Franklyn Nelson hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Vadim Izvoreanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Émilien Arrington skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Gilberto Fremont got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Martin Kühne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Fremont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Émilien Arrington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Qiao Qi Bo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Galatic Dragons's Émilien Arrington. Émilien Arrington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 34th minute of play forced Galatic Dragons's goalkeeper Émilien Arrington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Kühne's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe S.K.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Kühne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Martin Kühne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Émilien Arrington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Hoyt Cormier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Vierchowod in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Qiao Qi Bo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe S.K. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 69 minutes into the game, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Qiao Qi Bo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Émilien Arrington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. A collision led to Fenerbahçe S.K. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jerry Brunault hit a great ball. Émilien Arrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Yun Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Xiao Yun Jun put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Émilien Arrington. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Blevins in the 90th minute of play forced Galatic Dragons's goalkeeper Émilien Arrington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Xiao Yun Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émilien Arrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
