In the 15th minute Krystian Żmuda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoyt Cormier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Sharp was a little too slow when Qiao Qi Bo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. Hubert Sharp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Yun Jun in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Krystian Żmuda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Hoyt Cormier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hoyt Cormier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Erasmo Merchant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jerry Brunault made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gilberto Fremont immediately put the ball in play. Despite being the better team, Fenerbahçe S.K. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
