Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaclovas Kėbla in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's Gavino Aguirre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chong Talon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ian Pansby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chong Talon having to interfere. Gavino Aguirre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chong Talon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Anfilogino Amicone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Feliciano's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Gytis Saudargis kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Fredrick Abrams made a precise shot to the right of Chong Talon. ђỉģђωấų ţŏ ђęſſ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Toronto Marlies FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
