The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anfilogino Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Keen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Gavino Aguirre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jason Achin, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Gavino Aguirre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jason Achin. The goal made the score 2-0. Daron Keen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Toronto Marlies FC booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber Leon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Chong Sheppard. In the 31st minute, Qin Xing Shu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gino Goldstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jason Achin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gavino Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toronto Marlies FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Aguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Achin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gavino Aguirre took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jason Achin to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute, Hubert Arthur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Gavino Aguirre scored to the left of an out of position Jason Achin, making the score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terrence Arthur to strike the kick off in the second half. Anfilogino Amicone made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Max Darby sent off a good shot on target. Jason Achin came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Toronto Marlies FC's Gavino Aguirre. But to his dismay, Gavino Aguirre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Anfilogino Amicone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terrence Arthur in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Gavino Aguirre sped through Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason Achin. Toronto Marlies FC's Daniel Passarelli was substituted for Gino Goldstein. Gavino Aguirre took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Achin. Jason Achin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 76th minute, Gavino Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto Marlies FC's zone, Terrence Arthur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Amicone came out of the goal and Terrence Arthur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Toronto Marlies FC's Gavino Aguirre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jason Achin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Gavino Aguirre scored 9-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jason Achin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Noel Hamlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Jason Achin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrick Abrams in the 94th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Jason Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toronto Marlies FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
