When Stan Pitre came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Azzurri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stan Pitre couldn't finish the play. Jason Achin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosario Cardona in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Terrence Arthur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azzurri FC's Carlos Tello was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Carlos Tello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jason Achin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosario Cardona took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Achin. Jason Achin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 39 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Chong Sheppard. Jules Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Achin having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Rosario Cardona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Achin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loramendi Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Arthur in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Azzurri FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartlomiej Winnicki. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosario Cardona made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Carlos Tello notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin. Jason Achin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jason Achin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartlomiej Winnicki went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terrence Arthur got free with Loramendi Valdivia in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71stth minute of the game Jules Barrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loramendi Valdivia made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Terrence Arthur sent off a good shot on target. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Barrett in the 74th minute of play. After 78 minutes Azzurri FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daron Keen who took care of the corner kick. Stan Pitre's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stan Pitre helped the player get up and apologised. 86 minutes into the game, one of Qikiqtarjuaq FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Azzurri FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Tello, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin. 7-0. Jason Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Terrence Arthur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Arthur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosario Cardona scored 8-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jason Achin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Azzurri FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
