Jules Barrett who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Tolis Nomikos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Rosario Cardona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolis Nomikos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Loramendi Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Kominatos in the 19th minute of play. Loramendi Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Kominatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes in the game, Stan Pitre fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tolis Nomikos having to interfere. Carlos Tello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tolis Nomikos made a huge save. MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save MindHead FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Tello in the 32nd minute of play forced MindHead FC's goalkeeper Tolis Nomikos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MindHead FC's Sotiris Kardaris got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Rosario Cardona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Nomikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, MindHead FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Tello came free, but Tolis Nomikos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jules Barrett got free with Tolis Nomikos in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azzurri FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Redd in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Tello in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Azzurri FC defense, Thalis Kominatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loramendi Valdivia. The Azzurri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loramendi Valdivia should have stopped the shot. Loramendi Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Kanelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Azzurri FC's Norman Ayala was substituted for Jonathon Atwood. In the 67th minute of the match MindHead FC got a corner. Azzurri FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dionysis Tsiartas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 72nd match minute, MindHead FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thalis Kominatos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Azzurri FC's Loramendi Valdivia got control of the ball when Thalis Kominatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Loramendi Valdivia made a huge save.
