With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fraco Bailey in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervaso Cadiñanos saved Volveremos a la brevedad from getting behind. Mano Laurencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervaso Cadiñanos having to interfere. Volveremos a la brevedad's Gervaso Cadiñanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraco Bailey in the 25th minute of play. Fraco Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervaso Cadiñanos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Volveremos a la brevedad's Barros Albar got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gervaso Cadiñanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Laurencio in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Latorre FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Clodoveo Mazmela hit a great ball. Oxarra Caceo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Claude Castrillon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervaso Cadiñanos. Volveremos a la brevedad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Charro Pizaño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ismael Barambio. The goal made the score 1-1. Latorre FC's Ismael Barambio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charro Pizaño in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charro Pizaño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charro Pizaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervaso Cadiñanos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Ismael Barambio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Aya in the 60th minute of play. When Fraco Bailey came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Latorre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fraco Bailey couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes, Oxarra Caceo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latorre FC and the Volveremos a la brevedad players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Volveremos a la brevedad booed when Latorre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oxarra Caceo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Charro Pizaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mano Laurencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Mano Laurencio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Volveremos a la brevedad's Gervaso Cadiñanos. Gervaso Cadiñanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Barambio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Pizaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Aya in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Barambio saved Latorre FC from getting behind. Charro Pizaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ismael Barambio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fraco Bailey might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervaso Cadiñanos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fraco Bailey ran back to his position shaking his head. When Felix Aya came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Volveremos a la brevedad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Aya couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Aya in the 95th minute of play forced Latorre FC's goalkeeper Ismael Barambio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Mano Laurencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Latorre FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
