Despite a couple of nice moves Adelino Silva's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when William de Toledo was beeing forced to shoot. 13 minutes into the match, Flavinho Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Baptista. Mamori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavinho Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mamori FC's Wilson Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Prestes in the 17th minute of play. Flavinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamori FC's goalkeeper Wilson Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cafu Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cafu Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. William de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Flavinho Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Messias in the 37th minute of the match. Kryspin Smuskiewicz's late challenge caught a Mamori FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kryspin Smuskiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mamori FC booed when Praia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Smuskiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Celsinho Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Wilson Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praia. A collision led to Mamori FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Eriberto Messias hit a great ball. Eriberto Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Silva having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Praia had won after a very even match.
