Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henrique Figueiredo got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, vAux EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Horizon FC's Henrique Figueiredo tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Beto Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Horizon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to vAux EC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Júlio Ortiz hit a great ball. Paulo Tróia took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar Velasco. Adhemar Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Horizon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Beto Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, vAux EC's Hélio Xavier got control of the ball when Henrique Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Ulisses Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 54 minutes, Marcus Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horizon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. vAux EC's Hélio Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Figueiredo in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Beto Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horizon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélio Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ernani de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored vAux EC's protests and gave Ernani de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Horizon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Proença to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of vAux EC booed when Horizon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Figueiredo in the 80th minute of the match. Samuel Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Adhemar Velasco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ernani de Senna. Jonathan Proença hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
