Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristi Muja took the kick off in the first half of the match. Atenas SC's Christian Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Soeiro in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Atenas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Soeiro came free, but Christian Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Branco hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Dinei Faria succeeded in the game's 6th minute to get real power on a long shot . Atenas SC's Christian Maia hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! August Wedel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. August Wedel scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If August Wedel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Maia having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Cristi Muja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-4 when August Wedel sped through Atenas SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Maia. August Wedel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Maia having to interfere. Cristi Muja took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Maia. Christian Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 36th minute, Cristi Muja made a precise shot to the right of Christian Maia. Atenas SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 43rd minute Cristi Muja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Muja, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Cardoso to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cristi Muja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After 56 played minutes Atenas SC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Branco. A collision led to Atenas SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Michel do Valle hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cristi Muja managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Challenging's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristi Muja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Adriano Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Challenging's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristi Muja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Atenas SC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Duarte. S.C. Challenging's Dinei Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. S.C. Challenging's Cristi Muja got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 minutes, Dinei Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Challenging and the Atenas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes S.C. Challenging got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Faria. After a defensive mix-up in Atenas SC's zone, August Wedel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Maia came out of the goal and August Wedel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Jorginho Paes notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Atenas SC's Christian Maia. Christian Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from August Wedel went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. The Atenas SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.C. Challenging were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
