Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celsinho Cardoso started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Celsinho Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Natã Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atenas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiori Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fiori Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Celsinho Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Atenas SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Natã Teixeira hit a great ball. The supporters of Atenas SC booed when Zathun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atenas SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44th minute, Natã Teixeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrianinho Sabóia. The goal made the score 2-1.

Adalmo Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Christian Maia made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Porto in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrianinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Cardoso in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celsinho Cardoso in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianinho Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atenas SC's Christian Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro de Amaral in the 69th minute of play. Yuri Nunes got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Atenas SC's Yuri Nunes got a free kick in the 74th minute. Zathun FC's Alex Albuquerque shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christian Maia but with some difficulty. Natã Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natã Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zathun FC's Vânderson Andrade shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christian Maia but with some difficulty. Atenas SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zathun FC for a fine match.
