In the 7th match minute, Tesourinho Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Diego Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson de Almeida having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Tepedino in the 18th minute of play forced Isafla's goalkeeper Mitchell de Cler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Artur Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tesourinho Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isafla the free kick. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Murillo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tesourinho Futebol Clube's Denílson de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Carneiro in the 39th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denílson de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Marinho in the 41st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Denílson de Almeida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sidney Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isafla's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Gustavo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson de Almeida having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Diego Alves made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Tepedino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Tesourinho Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Carneiro came free, but Denílson de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. The supporters of Isafla booed when Tesourinho Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Diego Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isafla's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tesourinho Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson de Almeida should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Roger Pilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isafla's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
