Samuca Rezende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Leite having to make a save. Cláudio Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Quirino in the 19th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Aloísio de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocoyo FC's Dalmo Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Tales Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocoyo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Rezende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Alessandro Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Oliveira went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Samuca Rezende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Leite was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Pocoyo FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
