Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardo Pimenta got the match started through his kick off. YEAH RIGHT FC's Nestor Orol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Ferraz in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAPE TOWN MZC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CAPE TOWN MZC's Cauã Rosa got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gilson Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arnaldo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, YEAH RIGHT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Orol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tostão Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAPE TOWN MZC's protests and gave Tostão Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Paulo Neves was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. Nestor Orol went to the wrong direction when Silvinho Santana was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nestor Orol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Edgar Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Sá having to interfere. If Edgar Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CAPE TOWN MZC's Arnaldo Sá got control of the ball when Otávio Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otávio Amorim made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Edgar Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Otávio Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. YEAH RIGHT FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matías Favoretto's late challenge caught a YEAH RIGHT FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CAPE TOWN MZC's Matías Favoretto got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Edgar Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Otávio Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the YEAH RIGHT FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Amorim couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Amorim in the 65th minute of play forced CAPE TOWN MZC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Amorim struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Arnaldo Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YEAH RIGHT FC. Arnaldo Sá came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by YEAH RIGHT FC's Otávio Amorim. But to his dismay, Otávio Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Otávio Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arnaldo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otávio Amorim's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Otávio Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the YEAH RIGHT FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Amorim couldn't finish the play. YEAH RIGHT FC's Edgar Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Edgar Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the CAPE TOWN MZC defense, Danilo dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Sá. The CAPE TOWN MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Sá should have stopped the shot. After having played for 92 minutes, Otávio Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YEAH RIGHT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Pimenta hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Otávio Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. YEAH RIGHT FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. YEAH RIGHT FC had played much better football throughout.
