A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Marcinho Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galattasharay SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Hellcife FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Jacinto. After having played for 17 minutes, Marcelinho Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galattasharay SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hellcife FC's Renan da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Soeiro in the 19th minute of play. Betinho Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan da Silva having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Galattasharay SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Messias to maneuver through the defense. Roger Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roger Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hellcife FC's zone, Betinho Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan da Silva came out of the goal and Betinho Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renan da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcinho Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hellcife FC's goalkeeper Renan da Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Teles in the 42nd minute of play forced Hellcife FC's goalkeeper Renan da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betinho Cardoso made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Marcelinho Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Barral hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo do Valle took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan da Silva. Renan da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Marcelinho Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Hellcife FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Soeiro came free, but Renan da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan da Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Paraense got free with Renan da Silva in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes of play, Hellcife FC's Luiz Fernando Barral made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Marcinho Teles made a precise shot to the right of Renan da Silva. Hellcife FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Galattasharay SC's Marcelinho Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Renan da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hellcife FC booed when Galattasharay SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Paraense in the 97th minute of play forced Hellcife FC's goalkeeper Renan da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galattasharay SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
