With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Marquez in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Souza saved Angai from getting behind. Edmílson Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmílson Novaes got free with Charles Cruz in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Angai getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alberto Pitta hit a great ball. If Edmílson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Charles Cruz made a huge save. A beautiful save bye ATOS FC's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, ATOS FC's goalkeeper Charles Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson Novaes. João Paulo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Charles Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Velasco in the 43rd minute of the match. Edmílson Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Charles Cruz made a huge save. The supporters of ATOS FC booed when Angai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rômulo Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Paulo Velasco took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Cruz. Charles Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Angai's Artur Bueno got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Angai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Otávio Massa was slow to take the kick. During this time ATOS FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Otávio Massa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaime Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ATOS FC's Charles Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Novaes in the 88th minute of play. Angai's João Paulo Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, ATOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Meira to maneuver through the defense. Edmílson Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Cruz having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Angai players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
