That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 8th minute, Wágner Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pedrinho Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Wágner Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tupi's Michel Fontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rubinho Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Michel Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Warriors FC's Wágner Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wágner Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Warriors FC booed when Tupi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliézer Messias's late challenge caught a Tupi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Durvalino Sena made the kick off in the second half. Tupi's Michel Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel da Silva in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Warriors FC's Wágner Fontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michel Fontes. Michel Fontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 56th match minute, Tupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Wágner Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The Warriors FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Warriors FC's Wágner Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After a rather tough play, Tupi's Durvalino Sena got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Aníbal Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A hard shot by Natã Rezende from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Michel Fontes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 89 minutes, Wágner Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliézer Messias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-8 in the 90th playminute. Wágner Fontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Michel Fontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Warriors FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
