After a defensive mix-up in Iriri's zone, Vito Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Lopez came out of the goal and Vito Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Iriri booed when EE LEMENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes, Rodriguinho de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EE LEMENSE and the Iriri players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes EE LEMENSE got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho de Sena. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Dias in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Américo Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Iriri's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Xavier came free, but Murillo Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murillo Lopez was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Felipe Xavier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Xavier really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, EE LEMENSE's Vito Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murillo Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Xavier in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Vito Freire got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eduardo Britto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Felipe Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Felipe Xavier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murillo Lopez, 3-0. In the 47th minute, Felipe Xavier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murillo Lopez. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Ulysses França kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Ulysses França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eduardo Britto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iriri's protests and gave Eduardo Britto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Iriri's Eduardo Britto got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Vito Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé Dias got free with Américo Borges in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vito Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Iriri's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Xavier came free, but Murillo Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauã Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Lopez having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iriri! EE LEMENSE's Hugo Brodel was substituted for Vito Freire. Felipe Xavier struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Murillo Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EE LEMENSE. Iriri's Murillo Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Brodel in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Felipe Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murillo Lopez was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias de Moraes in the 97th minute of play forced EE LEMENSE's goalkeeper Américo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Murillo Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the EE LEMENSE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
