But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Melo couldn't finish the play. Evandro Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madri ES ⚽'s Antônio Carlos Barros got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Delfim Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
