Magno dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Oséas Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hortêncio Neiva. Gargau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oséas Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Amílton Tróia's late challenge caught a Gargau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. Amílton Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Erik Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséas Sá took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Neiva. Hortêncio Neiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Oséas Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magno dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Neiva having to interfere. When %teams%'s Erik Godoi was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-3 just inside the left pole, 37 minutes into the game. Sílvio Luís Mota was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséas Sá made a kick off. Nuno Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sílvio Luís Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Gargau got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Nascimento. If Nuno Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Godoi in the 59th minute of play. Nuno Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Mota having to interfere. Gargau's Erik Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Favoretto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, Gargau's Murillo Alcântara got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nuno Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luís Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Capia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luís Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Pinho in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Nuno Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gargau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Luís Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Capia FC's Hortêncio Fantini got a free kick in the 97th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
