Frecheiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calcoene the free kick. After 21 played minutes Frecheiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Maia. The audience was convinced that Vasiliy Kirichenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Cabral was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Cido Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasiliy Kirichenko in the 25th minute of play. Ernesto Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Cabral having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Zé Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calcoene and the Frecheiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Correia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Ernesto Vega made a precise shot to the right of Cido Cabral. Frecheiras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Luan Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calcoene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Calcoene's Gilberto Tasso got a free kick in the 65th minute. Calcoene's Antônio Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Calcoene from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasiliy Kirichenko in the 77th minute of play forced Frecheiras FC's goalkeeper Cido Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Frecheiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Hoffmann. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fabiano Hoffmann during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Frecheiras FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Hoffmann hit a great ball. If Vasiliy Kirichenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luan Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Calcoene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play.
