In the 11thth minute of the game Durvalino de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frecheiras FC's Cido Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Frecheiras FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Edgard Branco hit a great ball. Renatinho Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Waldemar Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Renatinho Freitas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vista getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Durvalino de Sousa hit a great ball. Juan Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Cabral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Arruda in the 29th minute of play forced Frecheiras FC's goalkeeper Cido Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durvalino de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cido Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino de Sousa in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Juan Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fabiano Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Vista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fabiano Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vista booed when Frecheiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Yuri Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durvalino de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frecheiras FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Durvalino de Sousa 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anísio Bueno in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Sampaio saved Vista from getting behind. When Juan Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Arruda couldn't finish the play. Frecheiras FC's Cido Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Frecheiras FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Cabral having to interfere. Waldemar Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Sampaio in the 70th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Edgard Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar Sampaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Frecheiras FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vista were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
