The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toninho Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Izumi F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. With a left leg Serginho Marinho saved Izumi F.C. from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Toninho Diniz in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Nankatsu booed when Izumi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Ferenc Mester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serginho Marinho came out of the goal and Jan Koller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Koller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serginho Marinho having to make a save. Serginho Marinho came out of the goal and Toninho Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Nankatsu getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ferenc Mester hit a great ball. Nankatsu's Jan Koller got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nankatsu's Ferenc Mester quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Duda Pereira, made in the 90th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Toninho Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nankatsu's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nankatsu fully deserved thier win.
