William Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Amorim made a huge save. Hamílton Arruda hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaviaozinho FC's Chiquinho Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hortêncio Amorim. That made the score 1-5 after 97 minutes of play.
