Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otávio Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gino Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gino Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Gomes in the 16th minute of play. Gino Montenegro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Cachoeirinha's Luiz Fabiano Prata. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gino Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fabiano Prata went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Prata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gino Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudinho Barros's late challenge caught a S.E. Cachoeirinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Claudinho Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Gino Montenegro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Cachoeirinha's Frederico Gomes. But to his dismay, Frederico Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gino Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Frederico Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Zoiudo's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Arce came free, but Gino Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Arce in the 41st minute of play forced Zoiudo's goalkeeper Gino Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Luiz Fabiano Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Zoiudo defense, Luiz Fabiano Prata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gino Montenegro. The Zoiudo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gino Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Prata was the one to do the kick off. Zoiudo's Gino Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zoiudo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otávio Arce got free with Gino Montenegro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Luiz Fabiano Prata got a free kick in the 56th minute. Zoiudo's Gino Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Zoiudo from getting a goal against them. Baltazar Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Veiga in the 62nd minute of play. Zoiudo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Otávio Arce scored to the left of an out of position Gino Montenegro, making the score, 0-7. In the 67th minute, Alexsandro Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes, João Adolfo Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoiudo and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Zoiudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Prata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gino Montenegro. Luiz Fabiano Prata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Gino Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Arce went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Gino Montenegro was a little too slow when Luiz Fabiano Prata got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Prata in the 86th minute of play forced Zoiudo's goalkeeper Gino Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Frederico Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Otávio Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 94th minute of the match, Frederico Gomes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gino Montenegro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. S.E. Cachoeirinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
