Bebeto Arruda hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Lucien Melis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Guimarães in the 6th minute of play. Elano Motta was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Ronaldinho Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldinho Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Josef Pecka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elano Motta came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Pecka slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Gears of War MZT defense, Gino Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Motta. The Gears of War MZT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Motta should have stopped the shot. Josef Pecka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Arruda in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GRADIM F.C's Dudu Salgado got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, GRADIM F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Aguiar came free, but Lucien Melis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Pecka in the 31st minute of the match. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Gonçalves in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Amílton Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucien Melis. GRADIM F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílton Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino Marques got free with Elano Motta in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gino Marques made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Motta. Gears of War MZT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Elano Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Marques went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Bebeto Arruda charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Arruda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Bebeto Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Marques in the 73rd minute of the match. Hudson Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lucien Melis made a huge save. Lucien Melis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hudson Abreu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Gears of War MZT's Pedrinho Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucien Melis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. A collision led to Gears of War MZT getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Amílton Aguiar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Gonçalves in the 82nd minute of play forced Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrinho Guimarães's late challenge caught a GRADIM F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Pedrinho Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Rodrigues in the 91st minute of play forced Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
