Ulyanov DR's Wayne Benton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ulyanov DR from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Eulalio Emesto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Poá FC's Rony Soeiro. Rony Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dráuzio Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dráuzio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Real Poá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Pena couldn't finish the play. Rony Soeiro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ulyanov DR's Eulalio Emesto. But to his dismay, Eulalio Emesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Ulyanov DR booed when Real Poá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitório Eger hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Real Poá FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ulyanov DR were winning 0-3.

Vitório Eger struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rony Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulyanov DR. Eulalio Emesto in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rony Soeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgar Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Poá FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ulyanov DR a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eulalio Emesto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Poá FC's Rony Soeiro. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Ulyanov DR's Remo de Almeida got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Dráuzio Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Poá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wayne Benton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulyanov DR's Caetano Moreno was substituted for Eulalio Emesto. Bernardinho Tróia's late challenge caught a Ulyanov DR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardinho Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Real Poá FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Tróia. Ulyanov DR's Wayne Benton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Baiano in the 83rd minute of play. David Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Real Poá FC's goalkeeper Rony Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Eger.
