Saguoes's Orlando Teles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rony Soeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bernardinho Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 minutes, Umberto Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saguoes and the Real Poá FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Umberto Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saguoes's zone, Fiori Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Arruda came out of the goal and Fiori Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianinho Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Dinei Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dinei Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Dráuzio Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Poá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, Saguoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Cerezo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Cerezo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eurico Batista was the one to do the kick off. Dinei Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Pena in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Real Poá FC's goalkeeper Rony Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eurico Batista. Fiori Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiori Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Eurico Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráuzio Pena struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dinei Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Poá FC. In the 67th minute Dráuzio Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Dráuzio Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinei Arruda. Saguoes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráuzio Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo da Costa couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dinei Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Fiori Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Poá FC had played much better football throughout.
