Elói Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato de Amorim in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Nestor Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CorinGunners F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carutapera AD the free kick. The supporters of Carutapera AD booed when CorinGunners F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Carutapera AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Elói Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato de Amorim in the 31st minute of play. Fellipe Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarcisio Vaz made a kick off. The throw-in from Gilmar Simão in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CorinGunners F.C.'s Joélson Schmidt. After a rather tough play, CorinGunners F.C.'s Rafinha Queiroz got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute Fellipe Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Rafinha Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elói Senna having to make a save. Donato de Amorim's late challenge caught a CorinGunners F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Carutapera AD's protests and gave Chico Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Carutapera AD's Chico Ribeiro got a free kick in the 89th minute. Charles Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CorinGunners F.C. booed when Carutapera AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CorinGunners F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
