Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The throw-in from Duda de Amorim in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Basu EC's Fernando Maranhense. Dedê Toscano made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Hortêncio Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute, Hortêncio Catarinense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dedê Toscano. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Prata got free with Dedê Toscano in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basu EC's goalkeeper Fabrício Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabrício Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Madureira in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Anísio Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrício Barros. Basu EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anísio Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, Tilápia fc's Dedê Toscano got control of the ball when Hortêncio Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basu EC's Fabrício Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Loyola in the 25th minute of play. Fabrício Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hortêncio Catarinense went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hortêncio Catarinense in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedê Toscano saved Tilápia fc from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Tilápia fc's goalkeeper Dedê Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Catarinense. Cícero Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Basu EC booed when Tilápia fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Catarinense succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 43rd playminute. Rômulo Travassos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hortêncio Catarinense to strike the kick off in the second half. Kiko Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Geovânio Mineiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabrício Barros. Basu EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Prata during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Basu EC's Gil Prata got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Anísio Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Fabrício Barros made a huge save. After 56 played minutes Basu EC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Catarinense. 59 minutes into the match, Basu EC's goalkeeper Fabrício Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anísio Pena. In the 61st minute of the match, Cícero Madureira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabrício Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute, Anísio Pena made a precise shot to the right of Fabrício Barros. Basu EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 66 minutes into the game, Anísio Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Fabrício Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Luciano Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Luciano Loyola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabrício Barros. Luciano Loyola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Basu EC's Hortêncio Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gil Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hortêncio Catarinense in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedê Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Tilápia fc's Anísio Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. The Basu EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tilápia fc's performance. The match ended with a win for Tilápia fc.
