Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gilberto Ferreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Umber FC's Gilberto Ferreira got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Luisinho Galvão hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Foz do Iguaçu defense, Gilberto Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Xavier. The Foz do Iguaçu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Xavier should have stopped the shot. Diogo Tinoco's late challenge caught a Foz do Iguaçu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Tinoco hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Foz do Iguaçu's Donato de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armandinho Matos's late challenge caught a Umber FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute of the game, Umberto Santos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Foz do Iguaçu made a substitution. Fabrício Hoffmann replaced Umberto Santos. Gilberto Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Xavier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Umber FC's goalkeeper Rafael Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Foz do Iguaçu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Umber FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Rodrigues to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Umber FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Coutinho. After having played for 55 minutes, Fernandinho Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umber FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrício Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabrício Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabrício Hoffmann took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Meireles. Rafael Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 73rd minute Fernandinho Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Umber FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Agnaldo Koehler hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Foz do Iguaçu's goalkeeper Raimundo Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Ferreira. Agnaldo Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
