Samuel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Percival Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Novaes in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percival Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aimorés's Percival Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Aimorés from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Jägermeister FC defense, Caetano Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristóvão França. The Jägermeister FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristóvão França should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Amaral during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Aimorés got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Amaral. Luís Eduardo Abraão struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Percival Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jägermeister FC. If Michel Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Aimorés's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Damião came free, but Percival Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jägermeister FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aimorés the free kick. Luís Eduardo Abraão hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Amaral in the 42nd minute of play forced Jägermeister FC's goalkeeper Cristóvão França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Jägermeister FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Amaral came free, but Cristóvão França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Novaes to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Manuel Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aimorés and the Jägermeister FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Aimorés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Duda Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Guimarães having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aimorés's Emerson Rocha got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Michel Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jägermeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Michel Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jägermeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Emerson Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristóvão França was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Samuel Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jägermeister FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percival Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão França made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Caetano Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Novaes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percival Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percival Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Novaes in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percival Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chants of Aimorés echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Jägermeister FC had held the ball for most of the match.
