Nilmar Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Cristóvão França made a huge save. After 9 played minutes Jägermeister FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer de Azevedo. If Enéas Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, DUCK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Remo Coutinho succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, DUCK's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Damião came free, but Gui Joinvilense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Samuel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Travassos's late challenge caught a Jägermeister FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilmar Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. Nilmar Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cristóvão França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Coutinho in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Jägermeister FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eliézer de Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Michel Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DUCK's Gui Joinvilense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Michel Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Novaes in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gui Joinvilense saved DUCK from getting behind.

Jägermeister FC's Eliézer de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Romero in the 57th minute of play. DUCK's Gui Joinvilense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Novaes in the 59th minute of play. Alexsandro Catarinense hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Eliézer de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Jägermeister FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Cristóvão França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Michel Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gui Joinvilense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jägermeister FC's Sérgio Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gui Joinvilense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, DUCK's goalkeeper Gui Joinvilense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Nogueira. After a defensive mix-up in DUCK's zone, Michel Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gui Joinvilense came out of the goal and Michel Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jägermeister FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
