The referee ignored Extrema's protests and gave Breno Valladares a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Extrema got a freekick which was hit by Breno Valladares. After a rather tough play, Megafuts FC's Marquinhos Souza got a free kick in the 19th minute. Raphael Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihály Bögi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Arturo Taglieri sped through Megafuts FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raphael Mazza. 31 minutes into the game, Arturo Taglieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Raphael Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Taglieri in the 34th minute of play forced Megafuts FC's goalkeeper Raphael Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Extrema's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Megafuts FC defense, Arturo Taglieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael Mazza. The Megafuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Mazza should have stopped the shot. Megafuts FC's Raphael Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Fernandes in the 84th minute of play. Arturo Taglieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Raphael Mazza made a huge save. Raphael Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Extrema played a much better game than Megafuts FC and deserved their victory. The Megafuts FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
