In the 5th minute of the match, Nildo Rodrigues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dalmo Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nildo Rodrigues in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dalmo Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 12 minutes into the match, Serra Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Arósio came free, but Robinho Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Serra Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo de Amaral hit a great ball. Waldir Rosado scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Serra Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Vasconcelos came free, but Robinho Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amílton Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo Sousa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Serra Futebol Clube's Nildo Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Nildo Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Itaberai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Rodrigues came free, but Dalmo Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dadá Vasconcelos made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Rodrigues in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Rodrigues in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Sousa saved Itaberai FC from getting behind. Válter Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Sousa having to interfere. Robinho Soeiro was a little too slow when Amílton Godoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-1. A hard shot 68 in the game by Dadá Vasconcelos from a close distance when the talented Robinho Soeiro managed to make a qualified save. Serra Futebol Clube's players were relieved. 69 minutes into the game, Serra Futebol Clube's Nildo Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Luiz Gustavo de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serra Futebol Clube's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Robinho Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Amílton Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Rodrigues in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the game, Edson Arósio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robinho Soeiro. Edson Arósio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 90th minute, Dadá Vasconcelos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robinho Soeiro. The goal made the score 3-3. In the 95th minute of the match Yuri Leme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmo Sousa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Itaberai FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Serra Futebol Clube to leave the ground with a draw.
