Faustão Abreu might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredinho Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustão Abreu ran back to his position shaking his head. CJ HENRIQUE FC's Anderson Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save CJ HENRIQUE FC from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Riconada EC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Abreu came free, but Alfredinho Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarbas Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Riconada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Saraiva having to interfere. CJ HENRIQUE FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Jarbas Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Anderson Viana, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in CJ HENRIQUE FC's zone, Luiz Fabiano Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Viana came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarbas Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anderson Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Anderson Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarbas Vieira's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 31st match minute, CJ HENRIQUE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Braga to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Moura made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bruninho Salles. Jarbas Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Jean Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riconada EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustão Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Riconada EC's Alfredinho Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Riconada EC from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Riconada EC's Jean Campidelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anderson Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 59th minute, Faustão Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Riconada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Vieira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CJ HENRIQUE FC's Artur Batista got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Jarbas Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Saraiva having to interfere. Artur Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Abreu in the 95th minute of play forced Riconada EC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Riconada EC had won after a very even match.
