Edmílson Botelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Soares during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pauliceia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lucas Soares hit a great ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pauliceia reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fabiano Tróia was the one to do the kick off. Edmílson Botelho took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovani Brodel. Giovani Brodel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Leandro Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovani Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Lucas Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Paulo Dante. The goal made the score 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitinho Ramos in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Paulo Dante saved Pangarés FC from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Vitinho Ramos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Dante. Vitinho Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Lucas Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Santana in the 80th minute of play forced Pauliceia's goalkeeper Giovani Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Luís Fabiano Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Lucas Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Paulo Dante was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 93rd minute Luís Fabiano Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Pauliceia's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Corrêa came free, but Giovani Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pangarés FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
