Nestor da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Dante made a huge save. If Luís Fabiano Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Jardel Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Linhares in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Tasso during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haroldo Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Felipe EC's Caio Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Corrêa in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Felipe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Luís Fabiano Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Felipe EC's Caio Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Dante made a huge save. Jardel Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Edmílson Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Caio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Aloísio Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Felipe EC and the Pangarés FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Felipe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. If Luís Fabiano Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Haroldo Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jardel Dante in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Paulo Dante saved Pangarés FC from getting behind. Luís Fabiano Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Miranda having to interfere. Aloísio Nascimento hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Luís Paulo Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor da Costa in the 54th minute of the match. Jardel Dante took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Paulo Dante. Luís Paulo Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gabriel Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Felipe EC's goalkeeper Caio Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Linhares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Dante in the 69th minute of play forced Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Samuel Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pangarés FC's protests and gave Samuel Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pangarés FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Samuel Palmeira hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Bernardo Dracena put in a rough tackle. After 79 played minutes Felipe EC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Dracena. 82 minutes into the match, Haroldo Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Paulo Dante. Pangarés FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 86 minutes into the match, Nestor da Costa notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pangarés FC's Luís Paulo Dante. Luís Paulo Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Pangarés FC's zone, Nestor da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Dante came out of the goal and Nestor da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pangarés FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Felipe EC.
