Spectators: 7352 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Didi da Silva started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Alfredo de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ariramba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araçá F. C. the free kick. Alfredo de Senna hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Rubinho Pontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Fernando Siqueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Nilton Neiva hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rubinho Pontes came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Araçá F. C.'s Nilmar Vieira. But to his dismay, Nilmar Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Vieira in the 12th minute of play forced Ariramba's goalkeeper Rubinho Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Angelo Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araçá F. C. and the Ariramba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Ariramba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Quadros to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Vieira got free with Rubinho Pontes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariramba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Nilmar Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Rubinho Pontes, making the score, 3-0. Rubinho Pontes was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Joélson de Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joélson de Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ariramba from getting a goal against them. Paulo José de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes got control of the ball when José Carlos Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ariramba's zone, José Carlos Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Pontes came out of the goal and José Carlos Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Nilmar Vieira sped through Ariramba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rubinho Pontes. After 45 played minutes Araçá F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Luz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilmar Vieira made a kick off. José Carlos Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Pontes having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Jefferson Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ariramba and the Araçá F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Ariramba got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Coutinho. After 63 played minutes Araçá F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Siqueira. Paulo José de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, Araçá F. C.'s Joélson de Sousa made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Nilmar Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar Vieira scored 9-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubinho Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Didi da Silva in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jefferson de Moraes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nilmar Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Nilmar Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Nilmar Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Nilmar Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Araçá F. C. had played much better football throughout.
