An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Netto in the 20th minute of play forced Corteva FC's goalkeeper Paulo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corteva FC's Paulo Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Corteva FC from getting a goal against them. When Duarte Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corteva FC's protests and gave Duarte Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Duarte Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Duarte Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco Toldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Ademir Loyola hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Porto Sul Football walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
