After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Oséias Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varadouro F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oséias Nascimento had several of the Manchester Barrier's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tião Leão as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tião Leão was a little too slow when Oséias Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 19th minute, Oséias Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tião Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Oséias Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tião Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tião Leão came out and tried to block the shot, but Oséias Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 29th minute. Oséias Nascimento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Tião Leão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Eddie Njurenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varadouro F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Njurenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álvaro Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Oséias Nascimento didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 40th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Oséias Nascimento ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 43rd minute, Eddie Njurenius made a precise shot to the right of Tião Leão. Manchester Barrier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Tião Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
The wind increased when Oséias Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Oséias Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester Barrier's Tião Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséias Nascimento in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tião Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Oséias Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tião Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Miranda in the 77th minute of play. The referee gave Varadouro F. C. a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oséias Nascimento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manchester Barrier's Tião Leão. 12-0. Inácio Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tião Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Tião Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséias Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. 13-0 became the score in the 97th minute when Oséias Nascimento elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There was no doubt that Varadouro F. C. were the better team. Varadouro F. C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
