Dé Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Veiga in the 2nd minute of the match. Tião Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Proença in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Lúcio Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tião Leão. Manchester Barrier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tião Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Proença in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Erasmo Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tião Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tião Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino de Andrade in the 13th minute of play. Rafa do Nascimento hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Ian Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, André Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Leão having to interfere. Erasmo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dé Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dé Secco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Munhoz in the 42nd minute. Lúcio Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Leão having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ediberto Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tião Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Viana hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. André Veiga took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dé Secco. Dé Secco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Dé Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Veiga in the 80th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Tenente FC got a freekick which was hit by Syd Zanussi. After 84 played minutes Manchester Barrier got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Paiva. 85 minutes into the game, Tenente FC's Lúcio Proença nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tião Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A sloppy throw-in by Lauro Toscano in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tenente FC's Vito Bueno. If Lúcio Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tião Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Lúcio Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Tenente FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester Barrier.
