Dé Secco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Oséias Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varadouro F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Dé Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Miranda in the 21st minute of the match. Oséias Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Inácio Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Secco. Tenente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 40th minute, Róbson Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dé Secco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 46th minute Oséias Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Varadouro F. C. were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Tenente FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anaku Keren took the corner.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Proença was the one to do the kick off. Oséias Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dé Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but Oséias Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tenente FC's zone, Inácio Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Secco came out of the goal and Inácio Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Inácio Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varadouro F. C. were awarded a corner. Anaku Keren went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Petru Hăvârneanu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dé Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Miranda in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Tenente FC got a freekick which was hit by Raúl de Sena. In the 95th match minute, Tenente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Varadouro F. C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
