Duda Teixeira started the match with the kick off. Hernani Matorin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 3 played minutes A.D. Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Ramalho. A.D. Imperial's Alexander Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of A.D. Imperial booed when Pato City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pato City! Ismael Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Ramalho in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Mattos in the 26th minute of play forced Pato City's goalkeeper Ismael Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Maravilha took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Aparecido. Ismael Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, A.D. Imperial's Dadá Maravilha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ismael Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ismael Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Maravilha's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Pato City's Ismael Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Ramalho in the 38th minute of play. Clemente Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Ramalho scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ismael Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Maravilha's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The Pato City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.D. Imperial were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Maravilha to make the kick off. Pato City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Dadá Maravilha scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Aparecido, making the score, 0-4. In the 61st minute, Cléberson Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Imperial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. With his leg Ismael Aparecido managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when A.D. Imperial's Antônio Ramalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from André Luiz Romero in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.D. Imperial's Clemente Massa. A hard shot 68 in the game by Antônio Ramalho from a close distance when the talented Ismael Aparecido managed to make a qualified save. Pato City's players were relieved. Pato City's Ismael Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Smith in the 69th minute of play. Antônio Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Ramalho got free with Ismael Aparecido in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Smith in the 78th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Dadá Maravilha notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Pato City's Ismael Aparecido. Ismael Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded A.D. Imperial left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pato City.
