The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Bonachea got free with Eduardo Zanette in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Olavo Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CRICIUMA TIGRAO FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Carvalheira in the 46th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Kléberson Pitta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olavo Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válbson Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67thth minute of the game Olavo Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blink Forever FC's Eduardo Zanette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
