With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléberson Pitta in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmyr da Silva saved NEWCASTLE from getting behind. Kléberson Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr da Silva having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademir Pereira in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr da Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 minutes, Ademir Pereira made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. NEWCASTLE's Walmyr da Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. NEWCASTLE's Walmyr da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Pitta in the 66th minute of play. Ademir Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Kléberson Pitta sped through NEWCASTLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walmyr da Silva.
