Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambaratiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vullnet Boba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 played minutes Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos rounded Macario's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Marcelo Velasco hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vullnet Boba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Cambaratiba getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dudu Velasco hit a great ball. Alexandrino Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belmiro Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Belmiro Motta hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos got free with Vullnet Boba in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Macario's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos came free, but Vullnet Boba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Dudu Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambaratiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamim Linares made a kick off. Vullnet Boba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos in the 51st minute of play. Vullnet Boba came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Cambaratiba's Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos. But to his dismay, Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Velasco in the 60th minute of play forced Macario's goalkeeper Vullnet Boba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Vullnet Boba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambaratiba. After 69 minutes of play, Cambaratiba's Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vullnet Boba was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Fabinho Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambaratiba the free kick. The supporters of Cambaratiba booed when Macario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Capixaba hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vullnet Boba was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 80 minutes of play, Cambaratiba's Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vullnet Boba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cambaratiba's Eurico Camargo was substituted for Gil Xavier. Vullnet Boba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Macario got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Capixaba. 89 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's Chatziioannou Lyberopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vullnet Boba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamim Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cambaratiba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
